From a young age, I found myself drawn to the world of art. I would beg my dad to sit down and draw with me whenever he had time, it was usually goofy portraits of our family members. He wasn’t the most artistic person but he definitely encouraged my artistic abilities. Eventually my talents surpassed his as I took various art classes in high school that blossomed my interest in choosing an artistic career. Once I turned 18, I began getting tattoos and my love for this industry grew as I spent more time in the chair. I asked my artist questions about how they became a tattooist and the more time i spent in tattoo shops, the more this career felt natural to me. It was a pipe dream at first but when I came across an application for an internship with The Tattooed Lady, everything fell into place and I have been here since August of 2020. I love this career because it encompasses my love for art and working with others to create something meaningful.
